Aisling Bea
Aisling was born March 16 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known by the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea was first seen as part of the cast in Irish or British television programs in 2009, made her debut by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. In 2012, she started appearing on a variety of sketch and sitcoms. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panel shows, where she's becoming a mainstay. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team as well as a participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the daughter of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Think You're Funny Award twice. Her surname honors the memory of her father who passed away. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who died when Bea was three years old though she did not know what happened to him until she was 13. Bea adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised in the same home as Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. They were obsessed with races and horses. Bea was a child a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she didn't want the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
